The Asshole Murder Case was first produced by Actors Theatre of Louisville on February 18, 1981. It was directed by Radha Delamarter.
SEYMOUR – full of rage at authority, feels deep alienation. Uses his humor to hide this.
NELSON – the opposite of Seymour; he accepts life and approves of it. Roommate of SEYMOUR.
EMILY – a fellow drama major. Fascinated by SEYMOUR.
EPSTEIN – acting and playwriting instructor.
