Overview

In this intense, funny and powerful monologue, Jasmine, a woman of 28, speaks to someone she feels she has performed the role of muse to, of her objections to this role, and of her desire to escape from the situation, but she has trouble saying what she's trying to say, because in her heart she's not certain she wants to say it, or to escape at all. Her conflicting desires and fears lead to a struggle inside her to come up with a solution that will allow her to stay and yet have her own identity. Part of a trilogy that includes Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening and Just Out The Corner Of Her Eye.
