Overview

Good and evil spar to a rock and gospel score. Devout Christians,British rock star Evelyn Cleveland, and his young protégée, gospel singer Adamun N'Temba, dream of establishing a religious television station G.O.D. TV in Britian. Americans, Reverend Rupert De La Ray and sidekicks Clarissa Charleston and Tony Genelli supply the funding. However, unbeknown to Evelyn and Adumun, the Americans are using GOD TV to launder Mafia drug money. When the fledgling station proves a disaster, Rupert in fear of his life, uses biblical quotes to persuades Evelyn and Adamun to include raunchy Biblical stories such as 'Sodom and Gomorrah' and 'Mary Magdalene - the early years' in the programming. The station takes off - and the money starts rolling in. Things go from bad to worse and in a cataclysmic show-down, Rupert, who is in fact the Devil, brings about Armageddon. In the final scene, somewhere in the cosmos, Rupert challenges God to yet another rematch, God agrees, and with a click of her fingers we are back in the Garden of Eden with Adamun and Evelyn... and it starts all over again.
