Summary

It's the 1920's, and sceneshifter (literally meaning one who shifts scenery on a set) Dan Clancy is going through a rough patch. He has lost his job, his home, his wife, his child, and, to make matters worse, has been blinded in one eye. With nowhere to turn, he looks to God for answers, but instead finds a speakeasy full of eccentric vaudevillians.
