Meeting at their 25th Vassar Reunion in June, 1994, four women in their late 40’s are African-American US Senator Laura Steele, New Hampshire farmer (and lesbian) Maureen Taney Thompson, NYC East Sider/corporate wife Judith Grossnickle, and NYC successful songwriter, Inez Frank. Maureen’s son and Inez’s daughter accompany their mothers for their own orientation visit as Class of ’98 incoming freshmen In this serious comedy, the reunion includes the quick and the dead (2 ghosts: a classmate and the farmer’s father who was a Yale Law School Dean) in completions of actions-in-progress.
