Overview

Using contemporary, down to earth dialogue, this play dramatizes the story of Moses as a young man torn between his loyalty to Egypt and his desire to help those he has just learned are his people. His brother refuses to allow him to help because his wife is not a Hebrew. In a rage, Moses kills an Egyptian overseer and flees, promising to return and free his people.
