Fred Carmichael
Peter Lansing's past catches up to him when a recording he made as "Petey" Lansing years ago suddenly becomes Number One on the Hit Parade. Peter is about to be appointed president of the college where he teaches when he becomes the newest rage. When he is almost coerced into accepting the presidency under the terms of the conservative Board of Trustees, his wife and daughters take a gamble for him behind his back. The lines are funny and the situations uproarious, but underneath lies the lesson that education should be modernized and teaching methods adapted to today's students.
