Overview
STRAIGHT UP concerns a young parolee sent by the local priest for rehabilitation to an apparently normal suburban family in South London. Given the willingness of father, mother and teenage daughter to lead double lives of one kind or another, the explosive effect of his arrival is doubtless inevitable.
