Buck Jarvis

Overview

The Black Cow saloon in Freetown, Nebraska. The scene is the legendary Old West. Stanley Blackstone, the mayor of the town, organizes a meeting to get rid of Buck Jarvis, the gunman who cleaned up Freetown and freed it from the clutches of a notorious, lawless gang. Buck has gone to seed, a lush who's a burden to the community and actually dangerous. Jack Kegley, a young rancher and former crony of Buck's, is assigned to get into a fight with Buck and outshoot him. But past history comes up with some surprises, and there's an unexpected twist in this, salty, nostalgic tale.
