This "fantastic farce" is based on the Rosicrucian astrological doctrine of the Great Epochs and the recession of the sun. In a prologue, twelve characters each representing a sign of the Zodiac, dance and are then dispersed into darkness. Ressembling, they await the reappearance of Leo-who never arrives. When a fire erupts, they find they must come together and fight or the world will be destroyed.
