Overview

Set in a Jewish cemetery, this poignant and funny play is about a harried young businessman who has hired a rabbi to say prayers over his father's grave. They meet an out of work actor who is paying his respects at the grave of a Yiddish theatre star. The actor thinks of the star as a father figure, but he blames him for the failure of his career. The businessman also has unresolved resentments. Together, they come to terms with their hostilities. Published with The Cure in The Last Laugh.
