Overview
The troubling aftermath of the Indian wars on the Ohio frontier in the late 18th century is the subject of this powerful play. George White Eyes is an Indian educated at Princeton, haunted by his dead father, unable to fit in either culture. The Crow sisters are the victims of a bloody massacre. Lewis Wetzel is obsessed with killing Indians. The Doddridge girl is a white captive who's caught between two worlds. Everything is morally ambiguous on the border.
