Overview

While her daughter calls to her from offstage, Anna speaks with her possibly dead grandfather, who is fixing a clock and trying to explain to her why we're always in love with something we've lost. One of nine short plays tracing the evolution of Anna's relationship with the writer whose work she is translating, each of which may be done in conjunction with any or all of the others.
