In this short, intense, eerie monologue play, Shelley, a young woman, rides the train into the city to work each morning through a desolate part of town, and keeps seeing the tortured face of a girl at a window in one building, her palm to the glass, apparently calling for help. Shelley becomes obsessed by the girl's face, and finally decides she must get to that building and help the girl. But what exactly will she find there? Published in Don Giovanni & Other Plays.
