Overview
Portia is a young woman who's brought a man home and seems to be
deciding whether or not to take him to bed. She is cynical about
relationships and seems to enjoy tormenting him, alternately seductive
and rude, keeping him uncertain of her intentions as she reveals her
attempt to find truth by generating nightmares, her theories about
copulation and the nature of reality, and the relationship of
intercourse to bull fighting. But a sock puppet killer has been
terrorizing the city, and desire might prove even more dangerous than we
suspected. In Darkpool & Other Plays.
