A Tastee-Freez in Phoenix, Arizona, on a March evening in 1956, Jake is cleaning up and talking with his last customer, Knees, a janitor at a local elementary school. Marilyn Monroe is in town to shoot rodeo scenes for her film Bus Stop, and perhaps has come to get ice cream with Jackie Gleason. And Knees, a frustrated and unhappy man, connects this in his mind with the pretty second grade teacher he is hopelessly in love with. A very dark ten minute play.
