Jack is trapped in a box with a spring up his backside, forced to listen to "Pop Goes The Weasel" over and over again and then pop out when that loathsome child Madge cranks the crank. How did he get in this mess? He is a very, very bitter fellow, in a very funny, grotesque and dark little play.
