Overview

Set in a saloon in a Western mining camp in the 1850s, Gold Dust is a very loose musical adaptation of Moliere’s The Miser. The story concerns a prospector named Jebediah Harp who has hit it rich and hoards his gold. Perfect for high schools, colleges and community theatres, this is another hit from Louisville’s famed Actors Theater, with music and lyrics by the very talented Jim Wann.
