Overview
This collection of nine monologue plays, five for women and four for
men, covers a variety of moods and styles that includes a homicidal
tomcat, a maddeningly elusive squirrel, a Pittsburgh street person who
believes he is Jesus, a mad French Canadian on a bus, a dead girl giving
up her child, a vitriolic collector of ballads, and other unique souls,
all trying to survive in an irrational and hostile universe. A unique
blend of poetry and lunacy that compliments Nigro's other monologue
collections Genesis & Other Plays, Labyrinth & Other Plays, and Cincinnati & Other Plays.
