Overview

Our fair heroine, Rosemary Lane, teaches school in New England. She leaves for the west to marry Bruce Shale, a cowboy at the Bar None ranch. Before she reaches her destination bandits hold up her stagecoach. She is rescued from certain death by our hero, Gladwyn Throckmorton, foreman of the Bar None. Regaining consciousness, Rosemary is shocked to hear that Bruce Shale has quit his job and moved on to seek work elsewhere. She becomes friendly with the arch fiend Effingham Leffingwell and is lulled into a false sense of security. It is Leffingwell who performs a series of fiendish activities until he is unmasked at the final curtain.
