It is the twentieth-century version of a medieval morality play in which the workers receive the awards of the blessed and the monarchs and capitalist politicians are consigned to eternal damnation. He called it "a heroic, epic, and satiric representation of our era" but in fact it was a brilliant farce in six acts designed to reflect his anarchist visions of the world.
