Overview

This extraordinary trilogy of short plays includes South of Tomorrow, Nijinsky Choked His Chicken, and Poppa Dio!. In the first, a suicidal young Hispanic man in a heroine shooting gallery turns out to be a martyr who miraculously gives an addicted black Vietnam veteran a new spiritual lease on life. In the second, a homosexual man, who is ostensibly a victim of machismo culture, is revealed to be a pedophile. In the final piece, an incest-minded stripper and hooker violently reckons with the son she raised. Bookended by a confrontational narrator's call for an audience to wake up out of ignorance, this trilogy makes for an electrifying night of theatre.
