Overview

While attending a convention in New York, a longtime loyal employee of a firm that sells saunas, hot tubs and musical toilets overhears his boss say that he will not be promoted to the Vice Presidency in charge of western sales because he doesn't have the guts to be a top salesman. The boss bases his theory on the fact that Walter is faithful to his wife, even when he's out of town and any man who doesn't have the guts to cheat on his wife isn't gutsy enough to be a topflight salesman. Walter drinks away his disappointment and inadvertently winds up in bed with an attractive woman who turns out to be the boss's wife. His complaint to her about having to work for a man who'd rather promote a philanderer than a man with moral integrity leads her to help him win his promotion but not before the boss discovers them in bed.
