The Walrus And The Carpenter

Overview

Produced in New York by Alfred de Liagre, Jr. Essie Stuyvesant's valiant effort to keep the wolf from the door of her elegant house in New York plunges her into a day of action that would send a weaker woman into collapse. The day is further complicated by a blessed event upstairs, the muddled troubles of her two daughters, a fierce and independent nurse, and a thieving butler. How the tangled problems are cleared up is told in three acts of hilarious farce-comedy interwoven with touching undertones of forthright and human sentiment.
