Overview

Burned out of her home, her marriage on the ropes and now keeping house in an East Texas trailer park, Patsy Tyson, waitress and aspiring actress, is preparing for her debut onstage opposite local community theatre “star” Bobby Don Flowers. Arousing her ne'er-do-well husband Ed’s suspicions, Patsy enjoys a growing attraction to this new man in her soon-to-be brand-new life. Casting a wary eye on the lovebirds, Ed enlists his reluctant pal Duke to join the production, and with busybody neighbor Lynette adding to the romantic complications, opening night fast approaches as they all must ultimately face their harsh realities in the light of day. This bittersweet comedy explores the folly of human errors with an effortless and lyrical humor.
