Overview

Post Haste is based on the true story of Emily Post (pre "Etiquette") taking a journey on Lincoln Highway, the first cross-country  highway, with her handsome young son as chauffeur, in 1915.  En route they not only discover a young America and many trials and tribulations, but each other as well. Emily evolves her way through the journey into being an independent woman, putting aside "society as a career", and resulting in  her many writings on etiquette (now in its 18th edition).  It is a two character, two act play with plenty of pathos,  requiring a simple set, or, should you wish, an eloborate one.

A Butler may be added to do scene changes in character!
