Overview
In this short, dark, very funny monologue, a politician calls a press conference to make a public apology, although he's not completely certain exactly what he's there to apologize for, and ends up getting himself into deeper and deeper trouble, until he snaps and, horrifyingly, begins actually telling the truth.
