A deeply moving, at times humorous, beautifully crafted show with simple folk songs. An assembly-length play, focusing on American history as seen through the eyes of young people: a member of Columbus' crew meets a Native American; Charlie goes to the Boston Tea Party; moving forward through Civil Rights and many other great events in American history. The work is honest, funny, absorbing and utterly human and delightful to play.
