Overview

A Collection of Four One Act Plays. These are, by far, the best plays from a high school student we have ever seen. We had no choice but to publish them all! Each of these plays can be called comedy or drama -- they are the best of both worlds.

Dirty Laundry is a bizarre story in which a control-obsessed mother finds her reclusive daughter growing up and out of her control. The girl's father, a talented, self-absorbed poet, expresses his hidden love for her as she is finally able to make the leap.

A Woman, a Bathroom and a Dream finds a young actress who can only act in her bathroom. She confronts her fear of failure by finding a friend in her sister and in doing so, takes the first step toward meeting the world.

College Letters takes place in a college dorm room, where a self-described cynic and an "air head" with a seemingly perfect life battle over the mail, love, and nearly everything else. It's a miracle they haven't killed each other -- but even more miraculous, they become best friends.

Gunshot Love shows us Mel, a young female photographer who's right leg is crippled. Life is rough for her in the big city, and her vague relationship with Will, an unemployed hypochondriac, is about to be tested. An unwanted visitor arrives from her past, bent on re-establishing the abusive and controlling relationship he had over her. It takes all of her newly found confidence to close the door behind him.
