Overview

As the daughters of Simon the Pharisee prepare the tithes for the home, they express concern for their marriages which will be arranged. They learn their sister Miriam has committed adultery but has been saved from stoning by a strange man. Their father Simon, a Pharisee, bans Miriam from his home and declares her dead the same night he entertains Jesus. When Miriam washes Jesus' feet with her tears and anoints them with perfume from her Alabaster Jar, Simon, after hearing Jesus' words to his guests, finds it within his heart to forgive his daughter.
