Jules Tasca, Robert Louis Stevenson
Based on the writings of Robert Louis Stevenson, this haunting short play by an award-winning playwright tells the story of how the Angel of Death encourages Will to look upon his life - his selfish love - before he's taken away. We see a Young Will who enacts the memory of Old Will and we see Marjory his always love. He never gives in to the joy marriage, but instead holds true to a selfish philosophy. The characters are deeply felt; the effect is overpowering.
