Overview

Vol, a victim of a lightning strike, half unconscious, staggers into the cave of Nubu and his family. Vol's wife explains what happened as the lightning and thunder continue outside. But Nubu, claiming that he relies on logic and reason, convinces his family that an unseen superior being who lives in the sky has attacked Vol. Vol and Nubu lock in a battle of "logic" until Nubu explains that Vol has been a victim because he does not believe that such a being exists. After ejecting Vol and his wife from the cave, Nubu and his family all give thanks to the hunter in the sky because the storm abates and Nubu explains the storm's end by ascribing it to his expulsion of Vol, the offender of the being who throws fire.
