The First Wedding Planner

Overview

In the prehistoric traditions of Alo's life, a marriage is a simple endeavor: A boy and a girl walk down to the watering hole and announce to the rest of the clan that they are to be man and wife. In this comedy, Alo's wife, Yena, gets the brilliant idea that the whole idea of marriage should be studded with pomp to make it a glorious event. Yena, the first woman to come up with such a plan, shocks her husband by renting a flower festooned cart to take their daughter, Maee, and her fiance to the watering hole, then to a huge feast for 80 relatives and friends, next onto a honeymoon, all to be paid for with Alo's spear points and stone tools. Alo has never heard anyone with such a bizarre idea before. Thinking Yen insane, Alo takes extreme measures to dissuade Yena from creating the first wedding.
