Overview
A young man, Lem, in prehistoric times, too lazy to work invents the wheel. He talks his partner, Nam, into leaving all his toil and hunting behind and joining him in making and selling wheels. They invent wheel racing and skunking (tying a skunk to a wheel and rolling it into a neighbor's cave) in order to boost sales. When the novelty of the wheel wears off, Lem invents the cart (two skins down and 2 skins a month.) The funny climax is brought on when the prehistoric version of the mob tries a hostile takeover. But Lem and Nom have the best business response to them.
