When a staid attorney falls in love with a wacky younger man, little does she realize that this could lead to something drastic - marriage. He promises connubial equality, but what does equality mean? He goes from med student to house husband to his own career while she puts in 16-hour days at the office. They may be equal but who has time to notice? Eventually, she thinks his late nights involve another woman and she starts singing a different tune.
