The Liberation of Linda Dworkin

Overview

Linda Dworkin, a Midwest housewife and mother of two young daughters, feels unfulfilled. The family is visited by Linda's former college room mate, Fran Jackson, now a famous movie star and women's rights advocate. The conservative lifestyle of the family is turned upside down by the arrival of Fran and her movie star boyfriend, Sam Sotherby, and their rather unconventional behavior. Linda is swept away by the realization that she has so much more to offer and the placid family existence receives a jolt.
