Overview

In a South Philadelphia kitchen, Jack, an Ivy League-educated man, has come to court Clara while her “ole man” is at work. However, his efforts are thwarted by Big Girl and three young men; Stoogie, Bama, and Hoss, who are seeking refuge in Clara’s apartment. Jack soon discovers that Clara’s “ole man” is Big Girl and they are in a relationship with one another.
