Overview

Loopy Rye is the village idiot in Armitage, a small town in east Ohio, but he's quite a bit more as well. In this play the story of his encounter with Lavinia Plum, the troubled daughter of the local banker, in a cemetery one night, and the terrible consequences that follow, is unravelled.
